Step-by-step

Power off tablet and remove SIM/SD tray
1 minTurn off the Samsung Tab 3 Lite completely and pop out any installed microSD card from the side slot.

Pry open the rear casing
3 minInsert a plastic opening tool into the seam between the front glass bezel and the plastic back cover near the power button.

Unclip and remove the back cover
2 minSlide the plastic tool along the entire perimeter to pop all plastic clips free, then lift the back cover off.

Disconnect the battery flex cable

2 minCarefully angle the logic board up from the housing, ensuring no disconnected ribbon cables snag on board components.

Desolder defective components or reflow board

Reinstall and secure the logic board
