   Power Off Tablet

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely shut down before starting.

   Heat Screen Edges

   Apply heat evenly around the perimeter of the front screen using a heat gun set to low for approximately two minutes. This softens the strong adhesive holding the display to the frame.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the middle of the left display edge. Press down firmly to create a secure vacuum seal against the glass.

   Insert Guitar Pick

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap between the glass and the bezel. Insert a opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Screen Adhesive

   Slide the guitar pick carefully around all four edges of the tablet to sever the perimeter adhesive tape. Take care not to insert the pick more than 3mm near the top to avoid damaging the camera.

   Hinge Display Open

   Gently lift the display assembly from the left edge like opening a book. Do not pull the screen away fully, as fragile ribbon cables are still connected.

   Remove Display Connector Shield

   Unscrew the single Phillips screw securing the metal shield over the display cable connector. Lift and set the metal shield aside.

   Disconnect Display Cable

   Use the pointed end of a plastic spudger to pry the display flex cable straight up from its socket on the logic board. Separate the screen from the body.

   Pry the battery connector directly upward from the logic board to disable power to the board completely. This prevents accidental shorts during the repair.

    Disconnect Camera Cables

    Unplug the front-facing and rear-facing camera press-fit connectors from the main logic board using a spudger.

    Unclip Antenna Coaxial Cables
