Step-by-step

Power off device

Heat screen edges
3 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the screen edges for 2-3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

4 minSlide plastic picks around the left, top, and right edges to cut through the display adhesive.

3 minCarefully slice along the bottom edge with a pick, inserting it no deeper than 3 mm to protect ribbon cables.

Lift display panel
2 minGently lift the screen from the top edge, swinging it open slowly like the cover of a book.

Disconnect display ribbon cable
