   Attach a suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the top edge of the glass display screen.

   Create a gap under the glass

   Pull up on the suction cup firmly to create a small gap between the glass and the aluminum frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created beneath the screen assembly.

   Slice the top edge adhesive

   Slide the pick across the top edge of the display panel to cut through the adhesive tape.

   Warm the right glass edge with your heat gun to soften the glue underneath.

   Guide your opening pick down the right side, keeping the pick insertion shallow to avoid internal cables.

    Unscrew the display cable shield

    Use a precision screwdriver to remove the screws holding the display connector shield in place.
