Heat the Display Edges
3 minApply a heat gun around the perimeter of the screen for two to three minutes to soften the strong adhesive.

Attach the Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the upper corner of the glass screen and pull up gently to create a gap.

Slice the Perimeter Adhesive
8 minInsert an opening pick into the gap and carefully slide it around the edges to cut through the display adhesive.

Lift the Display Panel
2 minGently swing the display panel open like a book from the right edge, taking care not to strain the cables.

Unscrew the Display Shield
3 minUse a Torx T3 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal shield over the display connectors.

Disconnect the Display Cables
2 minUse the flat end of a spudger to pop the display connector flex cables off the logic board.
