Step-by-step

Power off and remove microSD card
2 minShut down the Surface Pro 3 completely and eject any installed microSD card from the slot behind the kickstand.

5 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat around the edges of the glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the display adhesive.
