Heat perimeter adhesive
3 minApply heat around the screen edges for two minutes using a heat gun to soften the front glass adhesive.

Attach suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the top edge of the front panel and gently pull upward to create a small gap.

Slice perimeter adhesive
4 minSlide a plastic guitar pick into the gap and trace around the frame edges to cut the adhesive.

Open front glass panel
2 minCarefully swing open the front glass from the left side like a book, preserving the bottom ribbon cables.

Remove LCD corner screws
2 minRemove the four Phillips screws located at each corner of the exposed LCD panel.

3 minInsert a plastic spudger beneath the speaker module to break the underlying adhesive and remove it.

2 minAlign the new speaker module with the bottom case mounting posts and press down to seat it.
