Heat the front glass edges
3 minUse a heat gun or heated pad along the perimeter of the glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the display adhesive.

Attach a suction cup to the glass
1 minPlace a suction cup on the lower left corner of the front glass near the home button.

Slice through the adhesive seal
4 minPull up on the suction cup to create a gap, then slide an opening pick beneath the glass.

Slide picks around the display perimeter
5 minMove the pick around the edges to separate the remaining adhesive, taking care near the Wi-Fi antenna at the bottom right.

Open the digitizer glass

Unscrew the LCD panel fasteners
