Heat front glass edges

Slice perimeter adhesive
5 minInsert a guitar pick into the gap and slice along the edges to sever the display adhesive, keeping clear of the bottom home button cable.

Open front digitizer
2 minGently swing the digitizer panel open to the left side like a book cover.

Unbolt LCD panel
3 minUnscrew the four Phillips #00 screws located at each corner of the LCD panel.

Lift LCD display
2 minUse a plastic opening tool to lift the top edge of the LCD, then flip it downward toward the bottom edge.

3 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to hold the speaker modules firmly in place.

Reconnect display flex cables
