   Power Off the Tablet

   Press and hold the power button until the shutdown menu appears. Tap Power Off and ensure the device turns off completely.

   Remove MicroSD Card Tray

   Insert a tray eject tool or pin into the ejection hole on the side frame. Press gently to pop out the tray and remove it.

   Insert Opening Pick in Seam

   Insert a plastic guitar pick into the seam between the front glass bezel and the rear plastic cover.

    Use a heat gun on low setting to warm the outer edges of the front screen for about two minutes.

    Press a suction cup firmly onto the upper portion of the glass panel near the edge.

    Thread the ribbon cables through the frame slot as you lift the damaged display panel off the frame.

    Scrape off residual adhesive using a plastic tool and clean the perimeter frame with isopropyl alcohol.

    Lay double-sided adhesive strips along all four edges of the tablet's inner perimeter frame.

    Thread New Screen Flex Cables

    Pass the display and digitizer ribbon cables of the new screen assembly through the slot in the frame.

    Align the replacement screen carefully over the frame and press around the perimeter to adhere it.

    Reconnect Display and Digitizer Cables

    Slide the flex cables into their ZIF connectors and snap the locking flaps down securely.

    Reinstall Motherboard Shield

    Position the metal shield plate over the mainboard and tighten the Phillips screws.
