   Press and hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then select power off. Unplug all charging cables before proceeding.

   Insert opening pick into rear seam

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the rear cover and the display frame along the side edge.

   Unclip the rear cover

   Slide the pick around all four edges to release the plastic perimeter clips. Carefully lift off the back cover.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery cable connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

    Scrape off remaining glass and adhesive using a spudger, then clean the perimeter with isopropyl alcohol.
