   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select the option to shut down the tablet completely.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the thin seam between the display assembly and the back cover.

   Unclip the Back Cover

   Slide the pick around the entire perimeter of the tablet to release the plastic retaining clips.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the back cover off the tablet chassis and place it aside.

   Disconnect the Battery

   Use a spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard.

   Remove Speaker Screws

   Unscrew the Phillips #00 screws holding the speaker modules to the frame.

   Disconnect Speaker Cables

   Use tweezers or a spudger to unplug the speaker wiring harness from the motherboard.

   Remove Old Speakers

   Gently pry the left and right speaker units out of their frame recesses.

   Install New Speakers

   Place the replacement speaker modules into their designated slots in the housing.

    Plug In Speaker Harness

    Connect the replacement speaker cable firmly into the motherboard socket.

    Secure Speaker Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #00 screws to lock the speakers in place.

    Reconnect Battery

    Align and press the battery connector back into its motherboard socket.

    Position Back Cover

    Set the back cover on top of the tablet assembly, aligning the camera and port cutouts.

    Snap Cover into Place

    Press firmly along all edges of the tablet until every perimeter clip snaps closed.
