   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off to turn off the Galaxy S8 completely.

   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the device to remove the SIM and MicroSD tray.

   Heat Back Glass

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer along the outer edges of the rear glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass and pull up firmly to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the rear glass and the metal frame.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick around the perimeter of the phone to cut through the back glass adhesive. Keep the pick shallow near the camera to avoid damaging flex cables.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor

   Slightly tilt the back cover up and use a spudger to detach the fingerprint sensor connector located next to the rear camera.

    Remove the five Phillips #00 screws holding the lower loudspeaker housing to the frame.

    Disconnect Battery

    Pry up the battery press-connector from the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Disconnect the main display flex cable connector located near the middle right of the motherboard.

    Unplug the front-facing camera, iris scanner, and sensor array connectors at the top of the logic board.

    Gently lift the logic board out of the phone, being careful not to snag any lingering cables.

    Apply high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the battery edges to break down adhesive, then pry it out using a flat plastic card.

    Transfer Earpiece Speaker

    Use tweezers to carefully lift the earpiece speaker out of the old frame and transfer it to the new display frame.

    Transfer Vibration Motor

    Pry up the vibration motor from the original chassis and install it into the matching slot on the new frame.

    Set the motherboard into the new display frame assembly, aligning all ports and screw holes precisely.

    Install Battery

    Apply thin adhesive tape to the battery recess in the new frame, press the battery into place, and reconnect its cable.

    Seal Rear Cover

    Reinstall the internal shields, apply new pre-cut adhesive to the rear glass, reconnect the fingerprint sensor, and press the rear glass firmly onto the frame.
