   Turn Off the Device

   Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears. Select Power Off and wait for the screen to go completely dark.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole at the top edge of the device. Press firmly straight in to pop out the tray, then slide it out.

   Heat the Rear Glass

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer to the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the strong adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup to Rear Glass

   Press a suction cup firmly near the bottom corner of the back glass. Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap between the glass and frame.

   Slice the Rear Glass Adhesive

   Insert a plastic prying tool into the seam and carefully slide along the perimeter to cut through the back glass adhesive.

   Disconnect the Fingerprint Cable

   Slightly lift the back cover near the camera lens, using tweezers to detach the short fingerprint sensor ribbon cable underneath before fully removing glass.

   Lift Off Rear Glass

   Gently lift the rear glass panel clear of the chassis and set it aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew the Upper Antenna Frame

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 11 screws securing the top wireless charging pad and plastic shield assembly.

   Remove the Wireless Charging Assembly

   Pry up the right edge of the wireless charging pad with a spudger, then peel it away from the chassis.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the battery flex connector straight up off the motherboard.

    Unscrew and Remove Loudspeaker

    Remove the five Phillips screws holding the lower speaker assembly in place, then pry the assembly out from the bottom edge.

    Disconnect the Display Cable

    Locate the screen ribbon cable near the top right of the motherboard and detach it with a plastic spudger.

    Heat the Front Display Assembly

    Warm the entire front glass edge using a heat gun for 3 minutes to break down the adhesive securing the display to the frame.

    Slice Front Screen Adhesive

    Insert a thin plastic pick along the edge of the front display and work it around the entire border to free the glass.

    Separate Display Panel from Frame

    Guide the display cable through the slot in the midframe while carefully removing the cracked screen panel.

    Clean Remaining Display Adhesive

    Use isopropyl alcohol and a cleaning cloth to scrape away leftover glue and glass shards from the metal frame channels.

    Apply Display Adhesive Tape

    Lay down custom double-sided display adhesive strips along the clean outer borders of the phone frame.

    Install the Replacement Screen

    Feed the new display flex cable through the frame slot and firmly press the replacement panel onto the adhesive-lined frame.
