Eject SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the top edge of the device. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it completely.

Heat rear glass
3 minApply a heat gun or heated pad to the rear glass edges for two minutes to soften the strong adhesive.

Apply suction cup
2 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower third of the rear glass and pull upward to create a small gap.

Insert opening pick
1 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the glass and the midframe.

Slice rear adhesive
5 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive.

Lift off rear cover
2 minGently lift the rear glass panel away from the frame and set it aside.

Unscrew midframe panel
4 minRemove the twelve Phillips #000 screws securing the wireless charging coil and loudspeaker frame.

Remove wireless charging coil
2 minPry up the edges of the upper antenna and wireless charging pad to release it from the chassis.

Remove loudspeaker assembly

Disconnect daughterboard ribbons
2 minPry up the two lower ribbon cable press-connectors located near the bottom of the board.

Disconnect antenna cables
2 minUse precision tweezers to unclip the red and blue coaxial antenna cables from the logic board.

Remove logic board screw
1 minRemove the single Phillips #000 screw securing the top portion of the motherboard to the frame.

Extract logic board
3 minGently lift the logic board from the bottom end and pull it out of the chassis.
