Step-by-step

Heat the rear panel
3 minApply heat using a heat gun around the outer edges of the rear glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Apply the suction cup
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and pull upward firmly to create a small gap.

Insert an opening pick
2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the rear glass and the metal frame.

Slice through edge adhesive

Remove the rear glass

Unseat the capacitive key flexes
3 minCarefully pry up the soft key LED flex ribbons located alongside the charging port.

3 minPry up the micro-USB charging port daughterboard flex assembly from the bottom frame.
