   Turn Off Device

   Power down your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus completely before beginning disassembly.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the phone to remove the SIM tray.

   Heat Rear Glass

   Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the rear glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower section of the rear panel and gently pull upward to create a small gap.

   Insert an opening pick into the gap and slide it along all four edges to slice through the rear cover adhesive.

   Lift the rear glass cover completely off the phone frame and set it aside safely.

   Unscrew Midframe

   Remove the 13 Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic midframe to the internal assembly.

   Separate Midframe

   Press down on the battery through the rear frame cutout while pulling the outer plastic bezel away to free the chassis.

   Disconnect Battery

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery flex cable connector straight up from the motherboard.

    Disconnect Display Flex

    Pry up the display connector located near the upper section of the motherboard using your spudger.

    Disconnect Home Button Assembly

    Unplug the home button flex connector and capacitive soft key connectors from the bottom of the motherboard.

    Remove Motherboard

    Gently tilt up the motherboard from the bottom edge and lift it out of the chassis.

    Heat Screen Edges

    Apply heat to the front glass edges and curved sides for three minutes using a heat gun.

    Separate Curved Screen

    Attach a suction cup to the front screen, pull upward, and slip a thin opening pick beneath the glass.

    Slice Display Adhesive

    Work the opening pick carefully along the curved side edges and top rim to loosen the display assembly.

    Remove Damaged Screen

    Lift the damaged display off the frame, guiding the ribbon cable out through its slot.

    Clean Frame Residue

    Clean remaining glue and glass fragments off the metal chassis using 99% isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply Display Adhesive

    Lay down fresh pre-cut adhesive tape along the top, bottom, and side contours of the inner frame.

    Install New Screen

    Thread the new display flex cable through the chassis slot and align the glass panel evenly onto the frame.

    Reinstall Motherboard

    Lower the motherboard back into the frame and reconnect the display, touch key, and home button flex cables.

    Press the battery connector firmly down onto its matching socket on the motherboard.

    Secure Midframe

    Snap the midframe bezel back onto the inner assembly and tighten the 13 Phillips #00 screws.

    Seal Rear Glass

    Apply new adhesive tape to the back frame perimeter and press the rear glass panel down firmly to seal.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM tray back into its slot on the top of the phone until it sits flush.
