   Slice Rear Glass Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide the pick around the perimeter of the phone to cut through all adhesive.

   Lift Away Back Glass

   Gently lift the back glass panel straight off the phone frame. Place it on a clean surface away from tiny glass fragments.

   Unscrew Midframe Screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 13 screws securing the midframe assembly to the housing.

   Separate Midframe Assembly

   Push gently against the battery through the rear opening while pulling up on the midframe edges to unclip it from the display assembly.

   Pry the battery flex connector straight up from the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut off all power to the board.

    Pry Up Microphone Assembly

    Carefully pry the soft key touch pads and the primary microphone flex assembly off the bottom frame using a plastic opening tool.

    Install Replacement Microphone Flex

    Position the new primary microphone flex assembly into the bottom chassis, ensuring the touch key pads and mic capsule sit flush.

    Reinstall Motherboard

    Lower the motherboard back into the housing and press the lower daughterboard connector firmly onto the board.

    Reconnect Internal Components

    Reattach the display flex, antenna cables, and front camera connectors, then snap the battery cable back onto the motherboard.
