Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the Power button until the power menu appears, then tap Power Off to completely turn off the phone.

Remove the Back Cover
1 minInsert your fingernail or a plastic opening tool into the notch at the top corner of the back cover and pry it off.

Remove the Battery
1 minLift the battery out of its compartment using the recessed notch at the bottom edge.

Remove SIM and MicroSD Cards
1 minPress down gently and slide out both the SIM card and microSD card from their respective slots.

Remove Display Connector Cover
2 minUse a spudger to pry off the small plastic connector cover located on the back housing near the top center.

Remove Damaged Display Assembly
2 minThread the display ribbon cable out through the slot in the chassis and lift the old screen off the body.

Clean Frame Adhesive Residue
5 minScrape away remaining adhesive from the inner frame using a spudger and clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol.

Apply New Frame Adhesive
4 minLay fresh, pre-cut adhesive strips along the perimeter of the phone chassis and peel off the protective backing.

Thread Display Ribbon Cable
2 minPass the new display screen's ribbon cable through the frame opening from front to back.

Reconnect Display Cable
2 minAlign and press the display connector firmly onto its motherboard socket from the rear access port.
