3 minSlide plastic picks carefully down both the left and right edges, staying shallow to avoid damaging internal flex cables.

Heat Bottom Edge
2 minHeat the bottom perimeter near the physical menu, home, and back keys for about 90 seconds.

Slice Bottom Adhesive
3 minCarefully guide an opening pick around the bottom corners and physical buttons without lifting the display panel forcefully.

Lift Top Display Edge
2 minGently tilt the top edge of the display assembly away from the phone body while keeping the bottom edge near the frame.

Unclip Cable Cover Bracket
1 minLocate the small plastic cover over the screen connector near the top right, then lift it off with precision tweezers.

Disconnect Display Flex Cable
1 minUse the flat end of a plastic spudger to pop the display flex cable straight up from its motherboard socket.

Remove Display Assembly

2 minPosition the new screen assembly near the top and snap its flex connector into the motherboard socket.

Secure Cable Cover Bracket
1 minPlace the plastic connector cover bracket over the display flex connection and press until it clicks shut.
