Step-by-step

Power off the device
1 minPress and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen to shut down the phone completely.

Remove the battery cover

Remove the battery

Clean frame adhesive residue
3 minScrape away remaining glue from the midframe edges using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free wipe.

Apply display adhesive
3 minApply new pre-cut double-sided adhesive strips along the cleaned perimeter of the internal frame.
