Step-by-step

Power down the device
1 minPress and hold the side key and volume down button, then tap Power Off to turn off your device completely.

Heat the back cover
2 minApply a heat gun or heated iOpener around the outer edges of the rear glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the back glass and pull upward to create a small gap.

Insert an opening pick
1 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass frame and the chassis.

Slice the back cover adhesive
3 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive seal.

Remove the back glass
1 minLift the rear cover straight up from the chassis and set it on a clean surface.

Unscrew the wireless charging assembly
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the top cover and wireless charging coil.

1 minPry the battery connector straight up from the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

Unscrew the lower speaker housing
2 minRemove the Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker enclosure to the bottom of the frame.

1 minInsert the flat end of a spudger under the edge of the speaker module and lift it out of the device.

Position the replacement loudspeaker
1 minSet the new Galaxy S25 loudspeaker assembly into the lower recess of the phone frame.

Fasten the loudspeaker screws
2 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to secure the speaker module firmly in place.

Reconnect the battery flex cable
1 minAlign the battery press connector over its socket and press down gently until it clicks.

Reinstall the wireless charging cover
3 minPlace the top plastic assembly back over the motherboard and secure it with its original screws.

Apply back glass adhesive
3 minClean remaining adhesive off the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then apply a fresh pre-cut adhesive gasket.

Press the back glass shut
