Step-by-step

Power off the Galaxy S25
1 minPress and hold the Side and Volume Down buttons simultaneously, then select Power Off on the screen.

Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the bottom frame and remove the SIM tray.

Heat the rear glass perimeter
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the edges of the back glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass and press firmly to create a seal.

Remove old microphone daughterboard
2 minInsert a spudger under the sub-board containing the primary microphone and lift it out.

Install new microphone daughterboard
2 minSet the replacement daughterboard into its slot and press down evenly until seated.

Reconnect sub-board connectors and screw
3 minReattach the interconnect flex, antenna cables, and reinstall the retaining screw.

Reassemble speaker module and shields
4 minReinstall the bottom speaker and upper wireless coil shield, securing all Phillips screws.
