   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the device and push firmly to release the tray. Pull the tray out and set it aside.

   Heat the Rear Glass

   Apply heat from a heat gun or heated pad around the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the adhesive. Keep the heat source moving to avoid localized thermal damage.

   Slice the Rear Adhesive

   Attach a suction handle near the bottom edge of the glass back and pull upward to create a small gap. Slide an opening pick into the gap and slice along the edges to free the panel.

   Remove the Rear Panel

   Carefully lift the rear glass off the frame and clear away any loose adhesive strips. Store the panel on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Upper Bracket

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the wireless charging coil and top protective shield. Keep these screws organized by location.

   Detach the Wireless Coil Assembly

   Pry up the edges of the wireless charging pad assembly with a plastic spudger and lift it off the motherboard.

   Disconnect the Battery Connector

   Use the flat end of a spudger to snap the battery press connector straight up off the motherboard. This cuts off power to prevent electrical shorts during repair.

   Disconnect Display and Interconnect Cables

   Unclip the primary interconnect flex cables and display connector from the mainboard using a plastic spudger. Never use metal tools to pry connectors.

   Remove Rear Camera Assemblies

   Disconnect the rear camera press connectors from the logic board. Carefully lift the camera module out of its recess in the chassis.

    Unscrew the Logic Board

    Remove the remaining Phillips #00 screws holding the main logic board to the inner midframe.

    Extract the Logic Board

    Gently pry up the top edge of the logic board with a plastic spudger and remove it from the midframe. Place the board on an anti-static mat.

    Solder Damaged Board Components

    Inspect the logic board under high magnification, apply liquid flux, and use a micro-soldering iron or hot air station to reflow or replace faulty components. Clean off leftover flux with 99% isopropyl alcohol.

    Reinstall the Logic Board

    Lower the repaired logic board back into the device frame and resecure it with the retained Phillips screws.

    Reconnect Flex Cables and Battery

    Press all display, camera, and sub-board flex connectors back into their sockets, connecting the battery press connector last.

    Seal and Reassemble the Device

    Reattach the wireless charging coil bracket with its screws, apply fresh back glass adhesive strips, and firmly press the rear panel onto the chassis.
