   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the bottom frame. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it from the phone.

   Remove the S Pen

   Press the end of the S Pen inward until it clicks out, then slide the stylus completely out of its slot.

   Heat the rear glass perimeter

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad around the outer edges of the rear glass for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach suction handle

   Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the back cover and press down firmly to seal it.

   Insert an opening pick

   Pull up on the suction handle to create a tiny gap between the glass and frame, then insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the glue, reheating the glass if you feel resistance.

   Lift off the back cover

   Gently lift the rear glass off the phone chassis and set it aside on a clean work surface.

   Unscrew the upper midframe cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper motherboard shield and wireless charging coil.

   Disconnect the battery flex

   Use the edge of a plastic spudger to pop the battery connector straight up from the motherboard socket.

    Unscrew the loudspeaker module

    Remove the Phillips screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the main frame.

    Pry out the loudspeaker assembly

    Insert a plastic spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker housing and carefully lift it out of the device body.

    Install the new loudspeaker module

    Lower the replacement speaker into position over the lower sub-board and press down until it sits flush.

    Fasten the speaker screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to secure the speaker module to the frame.

    Reconnect the battery press connector

    Align the battery flex cable over its socket and press firmly down until it snaps into place.

    Reattach the wireless charging pad

    Place the wireless charging coil assembly back onto the motherboard and fasten all securing screws.

    Reseal and install the back cover

    Clean remaining glue residues with isopropyl alcohol, apply a fresh pre-cut adhesive gasket, and press the rear glass firmly back into place.
