Heat the back cover
2 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun around the rear glass edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction handle near the bottom edge of the back cover and pull upward firmly to create a small gap.

Insert an opening pick
1 minSlide a plastic opening pick into the gap under the back glass to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.

Slice the rear adhesive
4 minSlide the pick carefully around all four sides of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive sealant.

Remove the back cover
1 minLift the rear glass off the frame completely and set it on a clean surface.

Unscrew the wireless coil shield
