Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole near the bottom edge of the frame. Push firmly to pop out the tray, then remove it completely.

3 minApply a heat gun or iOpener around the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minAttach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass, pull up to create a small gap, and insert an opening pick.

2 minGently lift the logic board out of the chassis, taking care not to snag any flex cables or thermal pads.

Apply Liquid Flux
2 minApply a tiny drop of soldering flux over the damaged board components or pads using a syringe tip.

12 minUse a fine-tip soldering iron or hot air station to reflow solder or replace the faulty micro-components on the board.
