   Power off the Galaxy S24

   Press and hold the side button and volume down button simultaneously, then tap 'Power off'. Ensure the device is completely powered down before starting.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or thin pin into the hole on the bottom edge next to the SIM slot. Press firmly inward to pop out the tray and set it aside.

   Heat the rear glass

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer on medium heat around the outer perimeter of the back panel for two minutes. This softens the strong waterproof adhesive securing the glass.

   Attach the suction handle

   Place a suction cup on the lower third of the back glass, near the bottom edge. Press down to engage suction and pull upward firmly to form a small gap.

   Insert an opening pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam opened by the suction cup. Do not insert the pick deeper than 5 mm to avoid internal damage.

   Slice the bottom adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick along the bottom edge of the frame to slice through the adhesive. Leave the pick under the corner to keep the glass unsealed.

   Slice the left edge adhesive

   Insert a second opening pick and glide it upward along the left side of the device. Reapply heat if the adhesive becomes resistant.

   Slice the top edge adhesive

   Guide the pick across the top perimeter to cut the remaining adhesive strip near the upper cameras.

   Slice the right edge adhesive

   Move the pick down the right edge past the side keys. Take extra care near the physical buttons to avoid tearing inner flexible cables.

    Lift away the back cover

    Gently lift the glass back panel off the frame once all edges are freed. Set the rear glass aside safely on a clean surface.

    Unscrew the top bracket screws

    Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper mid-frame motherboard shield and wireless charging assembly.

    Remove the wireless charging coil

    Peel up the wireless charging coil array gently from the lower speaker area. Lift the integrated motherboard cover out of the chassis.

    Disconnect the battery cable

    Use the edge of a plastic spudger to pry the main battery connector straight up from its motherboard terminal. Keep metal tools away from the socket.

    Unscrew the lower loudspeaker

    Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower speaker module in place at the bottom of the device frame.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Lever the plastic spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker unit and lift it up out of the phone frame.

    Disconnect the interconnect flex cables

    Use your plastic spudger to disconnect the display and main interconnect flex cables spanning over the battery.

    Apply adhesive remover

    Apply a few drops of isopropyl alcohol or dedicated battery adhesive remover into the gaps along the sides of the battery cell. Wait two minutes for the glue to soften.

    Pry up the battery

    Pull up on the green battery pull-tab or slide a plastic pry card underneath the lower edge of the battery. Gently lift the battery out without puncturing it.

    Remove the old battery

    Lift the old battery fully out of the chassis. Clean all leftover adhesive residue from the recessed frame tray using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
