   Eject SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the phone to pop out the tray. Remove the SIM card tray completely.

   Remove S Pen

   Press the S Pen tip inward until it clicks, then pull it completely out of its slot. Store it safely off to the side.

   Heat rear glass

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun around the perimeter of the back glass for two minutes. This softens the strong factory adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the charging port. Press down firmly to secure the seal.

   Insert opening pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a tiny gap between the back glass and frame. Slide a thin opening pick into the gap.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back glass to slice the adhesive seal. Keep the pick flat so you do not damage internal components.

   Remove rear glass

   Lift the rear glass slowly away from the phone frame. Set the glass aside on a soft, clean surface.

   Unscrew wireless charging coil

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 13 screws holding the wireless coil and top shield. Group the screws for organized reassembly.

   Remove wireless charging coil

   Pry up the edges of the wireless charging coil assembly using a plastic spudger. Peel it away from the frame and remove it.

    Disconnect battery cable

    Locate the main battery connector on the motherboard. Pry it straight up with a plastic spudger to cut power to the board.

    Unscrew loudspeaker assembly

    Remove the 6 Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker enclosure at the bottom of the chassis.

    Pry up loudspeaker

    Insert a plastic spudger beneath the edge of the loudspeaker assembly. Gently pry up to unclip it from the housing.

    Remove loudspeaker module

    Lift the old loudspeaker enclosure out of the phone frame. Clear any debris or stray adhesive from the recessed area.

    Insert new loudspeaker module

    Align the replacement loudspeaker assembly with the bottom frame cutout. Press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Secure loudspeaker screws

    Fasten the 6 Phillips #00 screws back into the loudspeaker housing. Tighten them snug without over-torquing.

    Reconnect battery cable

    Align the battery press connector over its motherboard socket. Press straight down firmly until it clicks into place.

    Reinstall wireless coil frame

    Position the wireless charging coil assembly over the motherboard and lower chassis. Replace all 13 Phillips #00 screws to secure it.

    Apply back glass adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then apply a new pre-cut adhesive gasket onto the back cover.

    Seal rear glass cover

    Align the rear glass cover carefully over the phone chassis and press down firmly around all edges to form a tight seal.
