   Remove the S Pen

   Press the end of the S Pen inside its slot until it clicks, then pull it completely out of the phone body.

   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom frame and press firmly to pop out the tray.

   Heat the back glass

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun around all four edges of the back glass for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction handle to back glass

   Place the suction handle near the bottom edge of the back glass and press firmly to create a seal.

   Slice rear glass adhesive

   Pull up on the suction handle to create a gap, insert an opening pick, and slide it along all edges to cut through adhesive.

   Lift off the back cover

   Carefully lift the rear glass panel away from the frame and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the upper motherboard bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 driver to remove the 13 screws securing the upper wireless charging coil and motherboard bracket.

   Remove wireless coil and upper bracket

   Pry up the wireless charging coil assembly starting from the right edge and remove it from the device.

   Unscrew the lower speaker housing

   Remove the 6 Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker assembly at the bottom of the frame.

    Pry up the loudspeaker module

    Insert a spudger beneath the edge of the loudspeaker assembly and tilt upward to unclip and remove it.

    Disconnect the battery cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to snap the main battery flex connector straight up from the motherboard.

    Disconnect display flex cable

    Pry up the display connector located near the right middle edge of the motherboard.

    Heat the front display

    Apply heat evenly across the front display panel for 3 minutes to loosen the factory frame adhesive.

    Insert pick under display frame

    Apply a suction cup to the lower display edge, pull up, and slide a thin plastic pick beneath the glass bezel.

    Slice front screen adhesive

    Run opening picks slowly around all four outer edges of the screen, taking care near the top selfie camera cutout.

    Remove broken display unit

    Thread the display flex cable through the frame slot as you lift and remove the glass panel.

    Clean adhesive residue from frame

    Apply a few drops of 99% isopropyl alcohol and scrape away old adhesive tape from the metal frame channel.

    Apply new display adhesive

    Peel protective backing off new pre-cut adhesive, align it with the frame edges, and press down firmly.

    Mount the replacement screen

    Guide the new screen's flex ribbon through the frame opening, seat the display, and press edges down into adhesive.

    Connect display and battery flexes

    Press the display connector onto its motherboard socket until it clicks, then reconnect the battery cable.

    Reinstall lower speaker and upper brackets

    Set the loudspeaker and wireless charging shield back into place and fasten all Phillips #00 screws.
