   Power Off and Remove SIM Tray

   Turn off your phone completely. Insert a SIM ejector tool into the hole at the bottom frame to pop out the SIM tray.

   Heat Rear Glass

   Apply heat to the outer edges of the back cover using a heat gun on low for two minutes. Ensure the glass feels warm to the touch but not excessively hot.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower third of the heated rear glass. Pull upward firmly to create a tiny gap between the cover and the frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam created by the suction cup. Keep the pick flat to avoid damaging internal ribbon cables.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the pick along all four edges of the back glass to slice through the perimeter adhesive. Reapply heat if you encounter strong resistance.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Carefully lift the rear glass off the chassis. Set it aside on a clean, dust-free surface.

   Unscrew Wireless Charging Shield

   Remove the 15 Phillips #00 screws holding the upper motherboard bracket and wireless charging pad. Keep the screws organized by length.

   Detach Wireless Charging Coil

   Pry up the wireless charging coil press connector with a spudger. Gently peel the pad away from the battery and frame assembly.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the battery connector straight up from the motherboard. This cuts electrical power to prevent short circuits.

    Remove Loudspeaker Assembly

    Pry the lower loudspeaker module up from the bottom of the frame using a plastic opening tool. Remove it from the chassis.

    Disconnect Display Flex Cable

    Unplug the main display ribbon cable from its motherboard socket using a spudger. Lift the connector straight up without twisting.

    Disconnect Sub-Board Interconnect Cables

    Pry up both ends of the main and secondary interconnect ribbon cables. Remove the cables from the phone.

    Unscrew Main Motherboard

    Remove the single retaining screw holding the motherboard to the frame. Carefully lift the motherboard out by its edges.

    Remove Charging Port Daughterboard

    Remove the retaining screws securing the USB-C charging port board. Pry the daughterboard out of the lower chassis cavity.

    Soften Battery Adhesive

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the battery edges. Allow it to sit for one minute to break down the adhesive.

    Pry Out Battery

    Insert a flat plastic card beneath the battery and lever it out carefully. Never use metal tools or puncture the battery cell.

    Remove Earpiece Speaker and Motor

    Carefully lift the top earpiece speaker and haptic vibration motor out of the original frame using fine tweezers. Transfer them into the new screen frame.

    Transfer Front Camera

    Unclip the front-facing camera from the original frame bracket using tweezers. Place it into the designated recess on the new screen assembly.

    Install Battery into New Frame

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive strips into the battery well of the new display frame. Press the battery firmly into position.

    Install Charging Port Daughterboard

    Place the charging port sub-board into the lower recess of the new frame. Secure it using its original retaining screws.

    Install Main Motherboard

    Align the mainboard into the upper frame housing without trapping flex cables underneath. Fasten its securing screw.

    Connect Display and Interconnect Cables

    Snap the display cable and interconnect flex cables onto their respective motherboard and daughterboard sockets. Press until they click.

    Install Loudspeaker Module

    Lower the loudspeaker housing over the bottom assembly. Press down gently until it sits flush against the frame.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Align the battery flex connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly to reconnect power.

    Install Wireless Charging Pad

    Place the wireless charging pad and upper shield over the motherboard. Secure all 15 Phillips #00 screws evenly.

    Apply Rear Glass Adhesive

    Clean residual adhesive off the rear glass with isopropyl alcohol. Lay down a new pre-cut adhesive seal along the perimeter of the frame.

    Seal Rear Glass Panel

    Align the back glass over the chassis and press firmly along all edges to seat the seal. Apply light heat to help the bond set.
