Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the device to pop out the tray. Pull the tray out completely and set it aside.

3 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the perimeter of the back glass for 2-3 minutes. This softens the strong adhesive securing the rear cover.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass. Pull up firmly to create a tiny gap between the glass and the frame.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minSlide an opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Do not insert the pick deeper than 5 mm to avoid damaging internal flex cables.

Slice Rear Adhesive
4 minSlide the opening pick around all four edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive gasket. Reapply heat if the adhesive cools down.

Remove Back Cover
1 minGently lift the back glass away from the phone body. Set the back panel aside on a clean surface.

Unscrew Motherboard Cover
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 13 screws securing the plastic motherboard bracket and wireless charging coil.

Remove Wireless Coil Assembly

3 minCarefully guide thin tweezers under the fingerprint sensor module beneath the display cutout and gently lift it free.

2 minApply a drop of 99% isopropyl alcohol to a lint-free swab and clean away all residual adhesive from the sensor recess area.

Install Replacement Sensor
2 minPeel the protective backing from the new sensor and position it precisely into the frame slot. Press firmly for 10 seconds to set the adhesive.
