   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom frame to pop out the SIM tray. Remove the tray completely from the device.

   Heat Rear Glass

   Apply a heat gun set to 80°C (176°F) around all edges of the rear glass for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the factory adhesive securing the back cover.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the USB-C port. Pull up gently on the suction cup handle to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert the thin edge of an opening pick into the gap created beneath the rear glass. Do not push the pick in deeper than 5 mm to avoid internal damage.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around the entire perimeter of the back glass to slice through the adhesive. Reapply heat if the pick meets heavy resistance.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Gently lift the back glass off the phone body once all adhesive is sliced. Set the glass aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Midframe

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 15 screws securing the midframe and wireless charging coil. Store the screws together safely.

   Remove Wireless Coil Assembly

   Carefully pry up the edges of the plastic midframe and wireless charging coil. Lift the assembly out of the phone chassis.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery press connector straight up from the motherboard. This cuts power to prevent short circuits.

    Disconnect Power Button Cable

    Locate the power button flex connector on the right edge of the motherboard. Use your spudger to gently pop the connector straight up from its socket.

    Unscrew Motherboard Bracket

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the upper motherboard assembly to the frame. Gently lift the right side of the board slightly to clear the button area.

    Pry Power Button Flex

    Insert fine tweezers under the damaged power button flex cable attached to the inside frame. Carefully peel the flex cable and button contact away from the frame.

    Install New Power Button Flex

    Align the new power button flex cable precisely into the frame recess. Press firmly with a spudger to secure its adhesive back against the metal inner wall.

    Reseat Motherboard Bracket

    Lower the motherboard back into its original flat position in the chassis. Secure it using the single Phillips #00 screw removed earlier.

    Reconnect Connectors

    Press the power button flex connector and the main battery connector straight down into their sockets until they snap into place.

    Reinstall Midframe Assembly

    Place the wireless charging coil and midframe back onto the chassis. Fasten all 15 Phillips #00 screws to secure it.

    Reseal Rear Glass

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive to the rear frame rim, then align and press the back cover firmly onto the phone to restore the seal.
