   Power Off Device and Remove SIM Tray

   Turn off your Galaxy S23 Ultra completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole at the bottom of the frame to release and extract the SIM card tray.

   Heat the Rear Glass Panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low-to-medium heat to warm the outer perimeter of the back glass for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the internal adhesive gasket.

   Slice Back Glass Adhesive

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass and pull upward to create a slight gap. Insert a thin plastic opening pick and slide it around all four edges to cut the adhesive.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Gently lift the back glass off the phone chassis once all adhesive borders are separated. Set the panel aside on a soft surface.

   Unscrew Top Bracket and Wireless Coil

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper plastic cover and integrated wireless charging coil. Keep track of all screws for reassembly.

   Remove Wireless Charging Pad

   Use a plastic spudger to unclip and peel up the wireless charging coil assembly from the chassis. Lift the entire module away from the device.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Locate the main battery flex connector on the right edge of the logic board. Pry the connector press-fit straight up with the flat tip of a plastic spudger.

   Disconnect Interconnect and Screen Flexes

   Disconnect the display flex cable, lower board interconnect cables, and S-Pen sensor cable from their sockets on the main board. Always pry beneath the metal press connectors directly.

   Disconnect Front and Rear Camera Connectors

   Unplug the front selfie camera cable and rear camera module press connectors from the upper board. Avoid touching or contaminating the camera sensor lenses.

    Remove Logic Board Retaining Screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #000 screw securing the top portion of the main board to the inner frame casing.

    Pry Out the Damaged Logic Board

    Insert a plastic spudger beneath the bottom edge of the logic board near the camera housing cutouts. Carefully lever the motherboard up and lift it clear of the frame.

    Seat the Replacement Logic Board

    Align the replacement logic board over the internal chassis pins. Press down gently until the board sits completely flat, ensuring no flex cables are trapped beneath it.

    Fasten Logic Board Retaining Screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips #000 screw to anchor the logic board securely into place on the aluminum frame.

    Reconnect Camera and Flex Cables

    Reattach all camera connectors, display flex, lower interconnect cables, and S-Pen sensor flex to their corresponding motherboard sockets. Press firmly until you feel a soft click.

    Reconnect Battery and Attach Upper Bracket

    Plug the battery connector back into the motherboard socket. Position the wireless charging assembly over the top section and secure it with the reserved Phillips screws.

    Apply New Adhesive and Seal Rear Glass

    Clean remaining adhesive from the frame with 99% isopropyl alcohol, then apply a new precut back cover adhesive gasket. Press the rear glass firmly along the perimeter to complete the seal.
