   Remove S Pen

   Press the S Pen spring button at the bottom of the phone to unlatch it, then slide the stylus out of its slot.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the USB-C port and press firmly to pop out the SIM tray.

   Heat Back Glass

   Apply a heat gun or iOpener around the perimeter of the back glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach Suction Handle

   Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the glass and pull up gently to create a tiny gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam under the back glass near the USB-C port.

   Slice Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the perimeter adhesive seal.

   Lift Off Back Cover

   Carefully lift the back cover up and set it aside, using tweezers to remove any loose adhesive bits.

   Unscrew Wireless Coil Assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 13 screws securing the upper wireless charging coil frame.

   Disconnect Wireless Coil Cable

   Pry the wireless charging coil connector straight up off the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

    Remove Wireless Coil

    Gently peel the wireless charging pad and NFC assembly up from the battery and remove it from the device.

    Disconnect Battery

    Use the edge of a spudger to pry the battery flex cable straight up off its motherboard socket.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker

    Remove the 6 Phillips #00 screws holding down the lower speaker enclosure over the charging port.

    Remove Loudspeaker Module

    Pry up the lower speaker module with an opening tool and lift it out of the chassis.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Pry up both ends of the main motherboard flex cable from the daughterboard and set it aside.

    Disconnect Display and Antenna Flexes

    Pry up the display connector and carefully unclip the coaxial antenna cables attached to the daughterboard.

    Unscrew Charging Port Board

    Remove the 3 Phillips #00 screws securing the charging port daughterboard to the phone frame.

    Pry Out Damaged Board

    Gently pry underneath the USB-C port with a plastic spudger and lift the old daughterboard out of the phone.

    Install New Charging Board

    Set the replacement charging board into the chassis recess, aligning the USB-C port with its bottom cutout.

    Secure Daughterboard Screws

    Insert and tighten the 3 Phillips #00 screws to anchor the new charging board firmly into place.

    Reconnect Antenna and Flex Cables

    Snap the coaxial antenna connectors and display flex cable securely back onto the new daughterboard.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Place the loudspeaker module into the lower frame and re-fasten its 6 Phillips #00 screws.

    Reconnect Battery and Wireless Coil

    Snap the battery cable into its socket, reposition the wireless coil module, and replace its 13 screws.

    Apply Adhesive and Close

    Clean remaining glue with isopropyl alcohol, stick down new back panel adhesive, press the back cover tight, and reinsert S Pen and SIM tray.
