   Power down phone

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole next to the SIM tray at the bottom of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out and remove it.

   Heat rear panel

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer on medium setting to warm the outer edges of the back glass for 2-3 minutes. Keep the heat source moving constantly to soften the perimeter adhesive without overheating.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower third of the back glass panel. Press down firmly to secure a tight vacuum seal.

   Slice rear adhesive

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap at the bottom edge. Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam and slide it along the perimeter to slice through the adhesive.

   Remove back cover

   Carefully lift the back glass panel off the frame once all sides are sliced. Set the back glass aside in a safe, dust-free area.

   Unscrew top shield

   Use a Phillips PH00 screwdriver to remove the 6 screws securing the upper motherboard shield and wireless charging pad. Keep track of each screw for reassembly.

   Detach wireless charging coil

   Use a plastic spudger to gently pry up the edges of the wireless charging pad and NFC antenna assembly. Lift the assembly free from the chassis.

   Disconnect battery press connector

   Locate the battery flex cable attached to the motherboard. Pry the connector straight up using a nylon spudger to disconnect power.

    Disconnect display flex connector

    Use the pointed end of a spudger to gently pop up the display flex cable press connector from the motherboard.

    Unscrew lower speaker assembly

    Remove the 6 Phillips PH00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover to the frame. Place the screws organized by size.

    Pry out loudspeaker module

    Insert a flat opening tool under the loudspeaker housing edge. Gently pry upward to release it from the frame clips and remove it.

    Heat front glass display

    Apply heat around the perimeter of the cracked front screen panel for 3 minutes to soften the strong factory display adhesive.

    Attach suction cup to front glass

    Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the front display glass and press down to firmly engage suction.

    Slice front display adhesive

    Pull up on the suction cup while inserting a opening pick under the display bezel. Slice through the thick adhesive along all four edges of the screen.

    Remove damaged screen panel

    Gently lift the damaged screen off the frame, threading the display flex cable through its frame slot carefully. Clean up any loose glass fragments.

    Clean old display adhesive

    Apply a small amount of high-percentage isopropyl alcohol to a lint-free cloth or spudger. Scrape away all residual glue from the metal frame recess.

    Apply new screen adhesive

    Align and stick pre-cut display adhesive strips precisely along the inner frame shelf. Press down firmly and remove the protective film backing.

    Set new display screen

    Thread the replacement screen's flex cable through the slot in the frame. Press the screen flat into the frame, applying firm pressure along all edges.

    Connect display ribbon cable

    Align the screen flex cable connector directly over its socket on the motherboard. Press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Reconnect battery and reassemble phone

    Snap the battery connector back onto the motherboard, then reinstall the loudspeaker, top shield, screws, and back cover in reverse order.
