   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the side and volume down buttons, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is entirely shut down before proceeding.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small pinhole on the bottom edge next to the USB port. Push firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

   Heat the Back Glass

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer along the back glass edges for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat. This softens the internal adhesive gasket.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a heavy-duty suction cup onto the lower section of the back glass cover. Ensure a firm seal against the smooth glass surface.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup handle to create a tiny gap between the back cover and frame. Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam.

   Slice Bottom Edge Adhesive

   Gently slide the plastic pick across the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the adhesive. Keep the pick insertion shallow.

   Slice Side Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully up the left and right edges of the phone. Reapply heat if the pick encounters heavy resistance.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Guide the pick around the top corners and across the top edge. Verify all adhesive bonds around the perimeter are severed.

   Remove Back Glass Cover

   Lift the rear glass panel straight off the chassis. Place it safely on a clean workspace.

    Unscrew Wireless Charging Pad

    Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 6 screws securing the upper midframe and wireless charging pad.

    Disconnect Wireless Charging Coil

    Use a spudger to pry up the wireless charging coil press connector from the main motherboard.

    Peel Up Wireless Charging Pad

    Gently lift the wireless charging coil assembly off the battery and upper board, then set it aside.

    Unscrew Lower Speaker Assembly

    Remove the 6 Phillips #00 screws holding down the loudspeaker module over the daughterboard.

    Insert a spudger beneath the daughterboard edge and lift the board out of the phone recess.

    Set the new charging port sub-board into the lower recess, aligning the USB port with the frame cutout.

    Secure New Daughterboard

    Replace the single Phillips #00 screw to lock the new daughterboard into the chassis.

    Reconnect Flex and Antenna Cables

    Snap the interconnect flex cable, display flex cable, and coaxial antenna cables firmly into their connectors.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Press the battery connector straight down onto its motherboard socket until it clicks.

    Reinstall Speaker Module

    Place the loudspeaker assembly back into position and secure it with the 6 Phillips #00 screws.

    Reinstall Wireless Charging Pad

    Lay down the wireless coil assembly, snap its connector into the motherboard, and drive the 6 upper screws.

    Reseal Rear Panel

    Apply fresh pre-cut adhesive to the frame edges, press the back glass into position, and apply uniform pressure for 2 minutes.
