Remove the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray at the bottom of the device. Push firmly straight in to eject the tray and pull it out.

2 minApply a hot heat gun or warm iOpener to the back cover edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive underneath.

Create an Opening Gap
2 minPress a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear glass and pull upward firmly to create a slight gap. Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap.

Slice the Rear Adhesive
3 minSlide the opening pick around all four edges of the back panel to slice through the perimeter adhesive. Apply additional heat if you feel strong resistance.

Remove the Rear Glass

Unscrew the Upper Midframe
2 minUse a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the plastic midframe shield and wireless charging assembly.
