   Power down phone

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously, then tap Power Off on screen.

   Heat the back glass

   Apply a heat gun on low or a hair dryer around the back glass edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower section of the rear glass and pull upward gently to form a small gap.

   Insert opening pick

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created beneath the rear glass cover.

   Slice back cover adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges to slice through the adhesive seal holding the glass to the frame.

   Remove the back glass

   Carefully lift the rear glass panel off the device frame and set it aside.

   Unscrew upper wireless coil

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the wireless charging pad and upper plastic frame.

   Remove wireless charging coil

   Gently pry up and detach the wireless charging pad and upper frame assembly using a spudger.

   Disconnect battery cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the battery flex cable from the main motherboard.

    Unscrew lower speaker module

    Remove all Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly in place.

    Remove loudspeaker assembly

    Pry beneath the loudspeaker housing with a spudger and lift it out of the chassis.

    Disconnect main flex cable

    Use a spudger to pry up the main display connector from the charging port sub-board.

    Disconnect interconnect flex cable

    Disconnect the main ribbon interconnect cable attached to the daughterboard.

    Disconnect antenna coaxial cables

    Carefully pry up the blue and white coaxial antenna cable heads from the daughterboard using tweezers.

    Remove sub-board screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #000 screw locking the daughterboard to the phone frame.

    Pry up charging port board

    Lever a flat spudger under the charging port sub-board and lift it out from the bottom cavity.

    Insert new charging port board

    Position the new daughterboard into the chassis and press it down flush into the USB-C cut-out.

    Secure sub-board screw

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips #000 screw to secure the new charging port sub-board.

    Reconnect antenna cables

    Snap the white and blue coaxial antenna connectors firmly back onto their sub-board terminals.

    Align and press down on the main interconnect and display flex connectors until they snap into place.

    Place the loudspeaker module back over the sub-board and tighten its Phillips #000 screws.

    Snap the battery flex cable connector back onto the main motherboard terminal.

    Fit the wireless charging panel over the upper housing and fasten all remaining screws.

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame with isopropyl alcohol and apply a new custom adhesive sticker.

    Seal rear glass cover

    Align the rear glass cover with the edges of the frame and press firmly to seat the adhesive seal.
