   Remove the S Pen

   Press in on the S Pen to unlatch it from the bottom slot. Slide the S Pen out of the device completely.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole adjacent to the USB-C port. Press firmly to pop out the SIM tray and remove it.

   Heat the Rear Glass

   Apply a heat gun or iOpener around all edges of the rear cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass. Pull up on the suction cup with firm, steady force to create a thin gap.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass back cover and the midframe.

   Slice Bottom Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the adhesive.

   Slice Side Edge Adhesives

   Insert extra picks and move them along the left and right edges to loosen the back cover.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick across the top edge, taking care not to insert it too deep near the top sensors.

   Remove the Rear Glass

   Lift the rear glass off the frame and set it aside in a safe, clean spot.

    Unscrew Wireless Coil Bracket

    Unthread the 15 Phillips #00 screws securing the wireless charging coil and upper frame cover.

    Remove Wireless Charging Coil

    Pry up the upper frame assembly using a spudger and gently lift out the wireless charging coil pad.

    Disconnect the Battery

    Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery press connector directly off the motherboard.

    Unscrew the Loudspeaker

    Remove the 5 Phillips #00 screws that hold the lower loudspeaker module to the chassis.

    Remove the Loudspeaker

    Insert a spudger into the notch on the speaker housing and lift the module out of the phone.

    Disconnect Flex Cables

    Disconnect the main interconnect cable and the display flex cable from the motherboard using a spudger.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol into the gaps around the battery to dissolve adhesive.

    Pry Out the Battery

    Insert a plastic card or pry tool beneath the battery and gently lever it upward to break the bond.

    Clean Adhesive Residue

    Scrape off residual glue from the battery compartment and clean the well with isopropyl alcohol and a cloth.

    Apply New Battery Adhesive

    Place pre-cut adhesive strips into the battery compartment and peel away the protective film.

    Align the new battery with the compartment and press down firmly across its surface to seat it.

    Position the wireless charging coil and upper frame over the motherboard and press down to align.

    Thread and tighten the 15 Phillips #00 screws to secure the upper assembly in place.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining glue from the back cover perimeter and apply new pre-cut adhesive strips.

    Seal Cover and Reinsert Tray

    Align the rear glass cover onto the chassis, press firmly along all edges, then reinstall the SIM tray and S Pen.
