Step-by-step

Power Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the Side and Volume Down buttons, then tap Power Off on the screen. Disconnect all cables before starting.

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the bottom left edge and push to eject the SIM tray. Remove the tray entirely.

3 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup

Create Seam Gap
2 minPull up firmly on the suction cup while inserting a thin plastic prying tool into the gap between the glass and metal frame.

Slice Bottom Adhesive
2 minSlide the plastic pick horizontally along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the glass adhesive.

Slice Side Adhesive
3 minSlide the pick around the bottom corners and up both long sides of the frame. Reapply heat if the pick meets heavy resistance.

Slice Top Adhesive
2 minCarefully guide the opening pick along the top edge, taking care around the camera module perimeter.

Remove Old Back Cover
1 minLift the rear glass cover straight off the frame and set it aside.

Clean Frame Residue
4 minDampen a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol and scrape away old adhesive chunks using a spudger.

Apply Pre-Cut Adhesive
2 minPeel the protective backing from the new adhesive strip, align it precisely on the frame, and press it firmly into place.

Install Replacement Back Cover
2 minRemove remaining adhesive liner, align the new back cover with the camera frame, and press firmly along all edges to seal.
