Step-by-step

Power off device
1 minTurn off your Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus completely before beginning the disassembly.

Heat rear glass

2 minApply mild heat to the lower front screen to loosen the glue holding the fingerprint sensor.

Pry up fingerprint sensor
3 minSlide a thin plastic pick under the fingerprint sensor module inside the frame to free it.

Position new sensor
3 minPlace the replacement fingerprint sensor precisely into the recessed area on the inner display frame.

Reinstall motherboard
3 minSet the motherboard back into the chassis frame and secure it with its retaining screw.

Reconnect flex cables

Reseal back glass
