   Power off the device

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons, then select Power Off on the screen to shut down the phone completely.

   Heat the rear glass cover

   Apply heat around the outer edges of the rear glass cover using a heat gun for approximately two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the bottom center of the rear glass panel near the charging port.

   Create a gap under the glass

   Pull up gently on the suction cup while inserting a plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass and the frame.

   Slice through the perimeter adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick carefully around all four edges of the phone to cut through the rear adhesive.

   Remove the rear glass panel

   Lift the rear glass cover off the frame completely and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the wireless charging coil

   Remove the five Phillips #000 screws securing the wireless charging coil and top bracket to the phone chassis.

   Disconnect the wireless charging coil

   Use a spudger to pop off the wireless charging coil connector, then peel the coil off the battery.

   Unscrew the lower speaker assembly

   Remove the six Phillips #000 screws securing the loudspeaker module at the bottom of the device.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Insert a spudger under the top edge of the loudspeaker housing and lift it up out of the chassis.

    Disconnect the main battery cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the battery flex cable directly up from its motherboard socket to disconnect power.

    Eject the SIM tray

    Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole near the charging port and push firmly to pop out the SIM card tray.

    Disconnect the interconnect flex cables

    Pry up the display and main interconnect flex cable connectors attached to the bottom charging port sub-board.

    Disconnect the antenna coaxial cables

    Use fine tweezers to gently lift the blue and white antenna cable connectors straight up off the sub-board.

    Unscrew the charging port sub-board

    Remove the three Phillips #000 screws holding the charging port assembly to the bottom of the aluminum frame.

    Remove the old charging port board

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the charging port board and lift it out of the recess.

    Install the new charging port board

    2 min

    Position the new charging port sub-board into the frame recess and press down firmly until it aligns with the screw holes.
