   Turn off phone and remove SIM tray

   Power off the device completely and insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole at the bottom to remove the SIM tray.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply a heat gun set to low temperature around all edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the frame adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower third of the back cover and pull upward firmly to create a tiny gap along the bottom seam.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it slowly around all four edges to slice through the adhesive seal.

   Lift off back cover

   Gently lift the back cover off the phone frame and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew wireless charging coil

   Remove the five Phillips #00 screws holding the upper wireless charging pad and protective bracket in place.

   Remove wireless charging coil

   Pry up the edge of the wireless charging assembly using a spudger and lift it off the motherboard.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Use the pointed end of a plastic spudger to pop the battery press connector straight up off the motherboard socket.

   Unscrew the loudspeaker assembly

   Remove the six Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker module to the frame.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Insert a plastic prying tool under the loudspeaker housing edge and lift the speaker module out.

    Disconnect display flex cable

    Disconnect the main display flex connector from the lower portion of the motherboard using a spudger.

    Disconnect main interconnect cables

    Pry up the press connectors for the main interconnect cable at both motherboard and sub-board ends.

    Unscrew and remove motherboard

    Remove the single Phillips #00 retaining screw, then lift the main motherboard board out of the upper chassis.

    Remove daughterboard sub-board

    Unscrew the single retaining Phillips screw on the charging port sub-board and lift the assembly clear of the frame.

    Extract earpiece speaker

    Use fine-tip tweezers to carefully lift the earpiece speaker out of its recessed notch at the top frame edge.

    Remove vibration motor

    Insert a thin flat tool under the linear vibration motor to break its light adhesive and remove it.

    Pry out the battery

    Apply a few drops of high-purity isopropyl alcohol under the battery, wait one minute, and pry it loose using a flat plastic card.

    Prepare new screen assembly

    Remove all protective plastic films and blue tape from the interior compartments of the replacement screen frame.

    Install motor and speaker into new frame

    Set the vibration motor and top earpiece speaker securely into their corresponding cutouts in the new screen frame.

    Install sub-board and mainboard

    Set the sub-board and main motherboard into place on the new frame and secure each with its Phillips screw.

    Mount and connect battery

    Apply fresh battery tape, press the battery firmly into the tray, and attach its flex connector to the motherboard.

    Reinstall shields and rear cover

    Reattach the loudspeaker, wireless coil, secure all remaining screws, and press down the rear cover on fresh adhesive.
