   Power Down Device

   Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S21 completely before beginning disassembly.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole at the bottom of the frame and remove the SIM card tray.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat to the edges of the rear panel using a heat gun or hair dryer for two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass back cover and lift gently to create a tiny gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the rear panel and the outer frame.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Carefully slide the opening pick around all four perimeter edges of the back cover to cut through the adhesive.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Lift the rear cover completely off the chassis and lay it on a clean work surface.

   Unscrew Wireless Charging Coil

   Remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the upper wireless charging coil and NFC antenna assembly.

   Detach Wireless Coil

   Gently peel up the wireless charging pad flex connector and lift the entire assembly out of the phone.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

    Remove the six Phillips #00 screws securing the loudspeaker housing to the bottom of the device.

    Remove Loudspeaker

    Insert the edge of a plastic spudger beneath the loudspeaker module and lift it out of the frame.

    Disconnect Battery Flex

    Pry the battery flex cable straight up from its motherboard socket using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Disconnect Main Ribbon Cable

    Use a spudger to pop off the main interconnect ribbon cable connection from the bottom daughterboard.

    Disconnect Display Ribbon Cable

    Unplug the display ribbon cable press connector from the daughterboard.

    Unscrew Charging Board

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the USB-C daughterboard to the lower housing.

    Pry Up Charging Board

    Insert a spudger beneath the daughterboard and carefully pry it up from the phone body.

    Position New Daughterboard

    Align the replacement charging port board over the screw boss and press it flat into the lower chassis.

    Secure Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips #00 screw to hold the new charging board in place.

    Reconnect Flex Cables

    Attach both the main interconnect cable and display ribbon cable to their respective daughterboard sockets.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Press the battery flex connector straight down onto the motherboard until it clicks into position.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker

    Place the loudspeaker assembly back over the bottom frame and tighten its six Phillips #00 screws.

    Reinstall Wireless Coil

    Lay the wireless charging pad back over the motherboard, connect its plug, and drive the five Phillips #00 screws.

    Apply Fresh Rear Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive residue off the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then apply a new pre-cut adhesive gasket.

    Seal Rear Cover

    Align the back panel with the phone frame and press firmly along all edges to secure the water-resistant seal.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Push the SIM tray back into the SIM slot until it sits flush with the side housing.
