Power off device and remove SIM tray

2 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the bottom edge of the back glass for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach suction cup to lower glass

Insert opening pick into bottom seam
2 minPull up firmly on the suction cup to create a slight gap, then slide an opening pick under the glass seam.

Slice perimeter adhesive with picks
4 minSlide additional opening picks along all four edges of the back glass to slice through the adhesive seal completely.

Lift and remove back glass cover
