   Power off phone and remove SIM tray

   Turn off the Galaxy S21 Plus completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole at the bottom to remove the SIM tray.

   Heat the rear glass cover

   Apply a heat gun set to low heat around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to back panel

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the bottom edge.

   Slice rear glass adhesive

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a gap and slide a plastic opening pick between the glass and frame. Gently slide the pick around all sides to cut the adhesive.

   Remove back glass cover

   Carefully lift the rear glass off the phone frame and set it aside in a safe place.

   Unscrew upper motherboard cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the upper motherboard shield and wireless charging coil.

   Remove wireless charging coil

   Gently peel up the wireless charging coil assembly from the battery and lift out the top plastic bracket.

   Disconnect battery cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from the motherboard socket.

   Unscrew bottom speaker assembly

   Remove the six Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker housing in place over the sub-board.

    Remove loudspeaker housing

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker module and pry it out of the frame.

    Disconnect display flex cable

    Pry up the display press connector from the bottom right side of the main motherboard.

    Disconnect main interconnect cables

    Unplug both ends of the main ribbon cables bridging the motherboard to the lower sub-board.

    Heat display front panel

    Use the heat gun to warm the front screen edges evenly for three minutes to soften the screen adhesive.

    Attach suction cup to display panel

    Place a suction cup onto the bottom center of the front screen glass.

    Slice display perimeter adhesive

    Pull on the suction cup and insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the OLED panel and frame. Slice through the perimeter adhesive carefully.

    Remove damaged screen assembly

    Lift the damaged display off the frame, threading its attached flex cable through the frame slot.

    Clean frame adhesive residue

    Scrape away old adhesive strips using tweezers and clean the perimeter frame thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply new screen adhesive strips

    Align and press pre-cut display adhesive strips into the recessed borders of the aluminum frame.

    Install replacement display screen

    Thread the new display's ribbon cable through the frame gap and align the screen accurately onto the frame adhesive.

    Reconnect cables and test screen

    Connect the display flex cable and temporary battery power to turn on the device and test touch functionality before final reassembly.
