   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power and volume down buttons, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Heat the Back Panel

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel and pull up gently to create a small gap.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Insert an opening pick into the gap created beneath the rear panel.

   Slice the Edge Adhesive

   Slide the pick along the bottom edge to slice through the factory tape.

   Slice Remaining Edges

   Carefully run the opening pick along the sides and top edge to fully release the back cover.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the plastic back panel off the frame and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Midframe Shield

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper midframe and wireless charging coil.

   Disconnect the Battery

   Pry up the wireless charging coil assembly and use a spudger to disconnect the battery press connector.

    Remove the Wireless Charging Coil

    Lift the wireless charging coil and NFC assembly off the housing completely.

    Unscrew the Loudspeaker

    Remove the Phillips #000 screws holding the lower loudspeaker housing over the charging port board.

    Remove the Loudspeaker Assembly

    Insert a spudger under the notch of the loudspeaker housing and pry it up to remove it.

    Disconnect the Display Cable

    Use a spudger to detach the display flex cable connector from the sub-board.

    Disconnect the Interconnect Cable

    Disconnect the main daughterboard interconnect flex cable from the sub-board.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Use precision tweezers to carefully pop off the white and blue antenna coaxial connectors from the sub-board.

    Remove the Sub-Board Screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #000 screw holding the charging port daughterboard to the chassis.

    Extract the Old Charging Board

    Pry up the lower daughterboard gently with a spudger and remove it from the phone.

    Install the New Charging Board

    Set the new charging port sub-board into the lower housing and press it down flush.

    Secure the Board Screw

    Replace and tighten the single Phillips #000 screw to lock the new sub-board into place.

    Reconnect Antennas and Flex Cables

    Snap the antenna cables, display flex, and interconnect flex connectors firmly onto the new board.

    Reinstall the Loudspeaker and Coil

    Reattach the battery connector, replace the loudspeaker, reinstall the top shield, and secure all Phillips screws.

    Seal the Back Cover

    Apply fresh adhesive tape along the perimeter, press the back cover into position, and apply firm pressure.
