   Power off device and eject SIM tray

   Turn off your Galaxy S20 completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge to remove the SIM/microSD card tray.

   Heat the rear glass panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer along the edges of the back cover for 2-3 minutes to soften the rear panel adhesive.

   Attach suction cup near bottom edge

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the back cover and pull upward firmly to create a small gap.

   Slice adhesive around bottom corner

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup and carefully slide it around the bottom corner.

   Slice perimeter adhesive completely

   Slide picks along all four edges of the back cover to cut through the remaining adhesive. Reapply heat if the pick sticks.

   Lift off back panel

   Carefully tilt and lift the rear glass panel off the phone body. Set it aside on a clean surface.

   Remove motherboard cover screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the 5 screws holding down the top wireless charging pad cover.

   Detach wireless charging coil

   Gently peel the wireless charging pad and NFC coil assembly off the motherboard and battery.

   Disconnect battery flex cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the battery connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard.

    Unfasten lower speaker screws

    Remove the 5 Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom speaker housing and daughterboard cover.

    Insert a spudger under the top edge of the speaker module and lift it out of the frame.

    Disconnect main interconnect cable

    Use a spudger to pry up the main interconnect ribbon cable press-connector from the bottom daughterboard.

    Disconnect display flex cable

    Pry up the display ribbon cable connector from the daughterboard using a plastic spudger.

    Unplug antenna coaxial cables

    Use precision tweezers to carefully disconnect the red and blue coaxial antenna cables from the daughterboard.

    Remove daughterboard retaining screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #000 screw holding the charging port daughterboard to the frame.

    Pry out charging port daughterboard

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the daughterboard and gently lift it up to release it from the chassis.

    Insert replacement daughterboard

    Position the new charging port daughterboard into the bottom well and press it flat into the chassis.

    Fasten daughterboard screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips #000 screw to secure the new daughterboard to the frame.

    Reconnect coaxial cables and flexes

    Snap the red and blue antenna cables back onto their posts, then reattach the main display and interconnect flex connectors.

    Reinstall speaker assembly

    Place the loudspeaker module over the bottom assembly and press down until it sits flush.

    Secure speaker screws

    Drive the 5 Phillips #000 screws back into the lower speaker housing to lock it down.

    Reconnect battery flex cable

    Press the battery connector directly onto the motherboard socket until it clicks into place.

    Position the wireless charging pad cover and secure it with its 5 Phillips #000 screws.

    Apply back cover adhesive

    Clean off old adhesive remnants using isopropyl alcohol, then line the perimeter with new pre-cut adhesive.

    Press rear glass into place

    Align the back panel glass carefully over the frame and press around the edges firmly to seal the adhesive.
