Step-by-step
- 1
Power off your phone
1 minPress and hold the Side button and Volume Down button simultaneously, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

Heat the bottom edge of the back cover
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer to the bottom edge of the rear glass for 2 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Apply a suction cup to the lower back cover
2 minPlace a suction cup as close to the bottom edge of the back cover as possible. Pull up firmly on the handle to create a small gap between the glass and frame.

Insert an opening pick under the glass
2 minSlide a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup at the bottom seam. Do not insert the pick deeper than 5mm to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

Slice the bottom adhesive layer
3 minSlide the pick back and forth along the bottom edge to slice through the softened adhesive.

Heat and slice the left side adhesive
4 minWarm the left edge of the phone with your heat source. Guide the opening pick around the bottom-left corner and up the left edge to separate the glue.

Heat and slice the top edge adhesive
3 minApply heat to the top edge for 1 minute. Move the pick across the top edge, taking extra care near the camera housing area.

Heat and slice the right side adhesive
3 minWarm the right edge of the glass and slide the pick down to slice through the final remaining adhesive strip.

Lift and detach the old back cover
2 minGently lift the back glass off the phone body. If resistance is felt, reapply heat and run a pick through the stuck area rather than forcing it.

Clean leftover adhesive off the phone frame
5 minApply a few drops of high-percentage isopropyl alcohol to a microfiber cloth and wipe away old adhesive residue from the frame channel.

Peel protective film from the new back cover adhesive
2 minRemove all clear protective liners from the pre-cut adhesive strips attached to your replacement rear glass panel.

Press the new back cover onto the frame
3 minAlign the new back cover carefully with the phone frame, paying close attention to the camera module cutout. Firmly press along all four edges to seat the adhesive seal.
